What you get

From the job email to the approved take

The script, the read and the delivery in one place, for every client that sends you work.

One inbox

Jobs from every client that works with you, with due dates and what changed since you last looked.

Read-ready scripts

Directions above the copy, names from your client's pronunciation list with how to say them, and a timing estimate for the spot length.

Drop to deliver

Drop your files. They upload straight to the producer, even over a slow connection, and the producer is told.

See what changed

When a producer changes the script, the document or the directions of a job you have, the job shows what changed, word by word.

Read mode for the booth

The directions and the script full screen in large type, with each name's respelling beside it and a rehearsal stopwatch that compares your read with the spot length.

Several jobs in one drop

Recorded a batch? Drop every file at once. Each one is matched to its job by the Key Number in its name, and you check the matches before anything is delivered.

Named for the producer

Your file is named from the job's Key Number, the advertiser and the length, and you label the take: Main, Alt, Safety, Pickup or Tag.

Attach the rest

Session notes, a marked-up script, an invoice, stems or a session zip go to the producer as attachments. They never change what airs.

Emails you choose

New jobs always arrive by email. You choose the rest: a morning list of what is due, script changes, requests for changes and approvals.

How it works

From assigned to approved

  1. Your producer assigns you to a spot.

The job holds the script, the directions, the length, the due date and what to deliver: a dry voice, a finished spot or a live read.

  2. You get an email with a link to the job.

To reach the producer, reply to that email. You can also sign in at any time with the email address your clients use for you.

  3. Read, record and drop your files on the job.

Accept the job so the producer knows it is in hand, or decline it with a reason. Nothing reaches the producer until you press Deliver.

  4. The producer listens and approves your take.

If they ask for changes, their note and the date they need it by are on the job, and you deliver a new take.

The checks

A second pair of ears before the producer listens

Before you deliver, Talent Buddy measures each audio file in your browser. Once your file is processed, the word check listens to your take and compares what it hears with the script.

  • Length against the spot, sample rate, channels, peak level, loudness in LUFS, and the silence at the start and end.
  • A warning points out something worth a look: a take that runs long for the spot, a file that may clip, or a stereo file for a dry voice job.
  • The word check lists the words to check, marks the lines that look like legal copy, and goes easy on names and numbers. You and the producer see the same report.
  • Every check is advice. None of them ever stops a delivery: you can always deliver anyway, and the producer decides.
Your side of the business

Earnings, availability and your say on AI

The pages around the reads: what your jobs are worth, the days you record, and what producers may do with your voice.

Earnings

What your jobs are worth, from the rates your clients share with you: totals in each currency, by month, by client and job by job, with a CSV for your own records. A guide to your work, not an invoice.

Availability

Tell every client which days you record, and whether you can deliver on the day you get a job. Producers see it when they choose talent.

AI voice preferences

Tell producers what you allow with your voice: AI word fixes and AI versions, each Yes, Ask me first or No. They see your answer as a badge next to your name. Your choice is recorded; it does not block the tools yet.

For producers

Sending voice work from Radio Workflow?

Talent Buddy is the talent's end of production in Radio Workflow. Assign a voice to a spot as you do today: the job, the script and your directions reach the talent here, and what they deliver comes back to you.

  • The talent's progress shows on the spot, with their reason when they decline.
  • Play or download each delivery, then approve it, use it as the spot's audio, or request changes with the date you need them by.
  • Nothing airs on its own: a delivery stays in your Storage until you choose it as the spot's audio.
  • You see the days each talent records when you choose a voice, and their AI voice preferences as a badge next to their name.

Producers work in Radio Workflow. This site is for the talent.

One job, as you follow it
  1. Sent

The job, the script and your directions are with the talent.

  2. Viewed

    They opened the job.

  3. Accepted

They told you they will do it.

  4. Delivered

Their audio is ready to play, with the same check report the talent sees.

  5. Changes requested

Your note and the date you need it by are on their job.

  6. Approved

You approved the take, or put it on the spot.

For developers

Connect your own tools

Your own tools can work your assigned jobs through the REST API and the MCP server, with the same permissions on both: read jobs and scripts, accept or decline, upload and deliver takes, attach files, and read the earnings your clients share.

  • Create a key under API Keys with only the permissions it needs. Read access is selected by default, and you can revoke a key at any time.
  • A key reaches only the work assigned to you. Browser sign-in never authenticates an API or MCP call.
  • Files go straight to storage: begin an upload, send the file, then commit the take.
  • An OpenAPI 3.1 document, samples in curl, JavaScript and Python, and an MCP server for your own assistant.

Questions

Before you sign in

How do I get jobs here?

Your clients send them. When a producer at a station on Radio Workflow assigns you to a spot, the job arrives by email at the address they have on file for you.

Do I need a password?

No. Enter the email address your clients use for you and we email you a sign-in link. It works once and expires after 15 minutes. If clients use different addresses for you, sign in with each one.

Which files can I deliver?

WAV, AIFF, FLAC, MP3, M4A, AAC, OGG and Opus, up to 100 MB a file. The page tells you before anything uploads if a file is too large or not accepted.

What if my connection drops during an upload?

Uploads pause and pick up where they stopped. You can open other pages while a file uploads. Keep the tab open until the upload tray says it has finished.

Can a check stop my delivery?

No. Every check is advice: you can always deliver anyway, and the producer decides.

I delivered the wrong take. Can I take it back?

Yes. Withdraw it from the job page while the producer has not approved it or put it on the spot.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Every page works on a phone, and your browser's Add to Home Screen puts Talent Buddy beside your apps.

More on every screen in the help, or chat with support using the button in the corner.
